After recently retiring from a wonderful and stressful nursing career I was diagnosed with breast cancer midst Covid . So the stress stayed with me longer than I was hoping ! I needed Sue . My time working with Sue has been incredibly helpful. She helped me to understand the importance of looking after yourself, but also that you need to equip yourself in order to do that, it doesn't just happen! A lot of the challenges I had I probably already knew the answers to but couldn't connect, or wouldn't allow myself to connect, the 'knowing about' and 'doing something about' bit. Sue's gentle nudges towards the 'doing something about it' bit have been really helpful in enabling me to do the things that are actually fulfilling to me.

When I first met Sue, I described my relationship with food as toxic and my knowledge and understanding of health and nutrition as minimal. In just a short space of time both of those things have seen a huge shift and the impact of my work with Sue has been life changing. Sue created a safe space for me to openly discuss some of my biggest issues and to ask all the stupid questions that I felt, at my age, I should already have the answers to. The amount of knowledge that Sue has to share is truly phenomenal, and she does so with such a passion for health and wellbeing, and for seeing you become the best version of yourself. At every session I was met with compassion, absolutely no judgement, and Sue’s expert ability to deliver facts without sugar coating anything (because what I didn’t need in my life was more sugar!) Sue’s coaching and knowledge sharing has truly set me on a different path, a healthier path, and she has also shown me fascinating ways to take my young daughter on that journey with me. I can’t recommend Sue highly enough and I know that when I look back at this pivotal time in my life, I will still feel the immense gratitude to Sue that I feel today.
